Beach Girls

We've been enjoying our long weekend with my sister, Laurel. (Lal arrived on Thursday evening.) We spent a day hanging out in St. Augustine, went swimming, viewed the July 4th fireworks here in Jacksonville, played about 10,000 a lot of boardgames with Emma, and today had a nice beach day.

Tomorrow Em and I will drive to Ohio with Lal. She'll take us to my (our) parents' house, where we'll have a nice summer vacation. (DH will join us this weekend when his vacation time starts.)
I'm really looking forward to it. (Though I don't know how often I'll be able to blog, as my parents have dial-up computer access, and Emma sleeps in their computer room/office/guestroom.) I'll miss you all, but I am ready for some gorgeous weather, family bonding, and fresh corn on the cob. Yummy!
