This is my first time participating in Mel's Show and Tell: http://http://stirrup-queens.blogspot.com/ (Ack! I can't get the link feature to work.)
Last weekend Em and I went to the Jacksonville Zoo for the grand opening of their Asia exhibit. The gardens and ponds in the Asia area are gorgeous! Thus far, they only have 2 komodo dragons, which were quite a hit. They hope to add tigers and pandas in the next year. Pictures of the beautiful Asia area are below...

Beautiful bridge area. Emma said, "MOM! The bridge is GREEN! Your favorite color!"

By the end of the day, it was warm enough for Em to take off her long-sleeve shirt.
We had a great time!

Whoa that Komodo Dragon is amazing! I don't think I've ever seen one before. Thanks for sharing!
She is so beautiful and the zoo pics are great!
They did a gorgeous job with the zoo. It looks like so much fun.
That bridge would likely give me bronchial spasms . . . but, I'd do it! And, I love the komodo dragons.
Beautiful pictures! Looks like you two had a blast! I love those dragons, they are one of my favorite animals. Weird, I know. Thank you for sharing your day!
Just came across your blog via Show & Tell - I'm also a Grade 8 teacher (with an English Language Arts specialization).
Great pics!
It looks like you guys had a ton of fun! I'm so envious of your sunshine! :)
Beautiful pics. What a pretty girl you have.
Gotta LOVE a day out at the zoo.
A pretty little girl you have too she's so cute :-)

I love the zoo pics! My niece isn't such a little, little girl anymore! I can't wait to see her this summer and go to the zoo again-- Asia looks like such a fun exhibit (and for when you're in Ohio, the Columbus Zoo just got voted better than the San Francisco Zoo as the #1 zoo in America for the first time!!)! We've got our testing (OGTs) this week--ugh, but we can hang in there until spring break (mine isn't until the 6th-10th!). Xoxo! ~LaL~
Your daughter is beautiful and she seems to have thoroughly enjoyed her day!
Welcome to Show and Tell...You made a great start!
I'd love to have you join the book challenge. Sign in under the original post, set a goal for yourself, and keep a list somewhere on your blog. I have a post I edit to add each new book to and others have it in their sidebar. Once you have commented under the original post, I'll add you to the list on my sidebar. Welcome!
