Ack! Sooooo frustrated! Just wrote a post explaining some exciting things that have been going on with my job. However, when I try to post I get an error message which states,
Your HTML cannot be accepted: Tag is not allowed: META
Anyone know how the frack I can fix this?

Hmmm, if it is about the html in the post, it shouldn't have anything to do with meta tags. Did you hand code anything or did you just use the built in editor features? If you need some help figuring it out, email me.
I don't know what that is- I know html shouldn't have any meta tags.... hmmm... stupid technology.
Html? Meta tags? I'm totally at a loss. I really hope that you are able to get it figured out... I want to hear about what's been going on on the other end of the continent.
I too do not know what could have gone wrong! I'll ask Jase when he comes home for lunch.
Be sure you have a copy of the post in case something goes wrong. When you are in the posting and dialogue box, go to the edit html tab and click. You are now at the code box. When you save or try to post there will be certain text in the html that is not acceptable. It will be highlighted in blue. Delete the highlighted text. Then save again. If another "html cannot be accepted" or maybe it will say "Link can not be accepted" then there will also be a highlighted portion of the unacceptable code. Delete that and save again. Continue until you get rid of all the unacceptable code and at some point when you save or publish, it will work.
Jase says: she probably has <> symbols in her post somewhere
I use hand-coding in my posts all the time, but I've never gotten the comment about meta tags. I used them a long time ago, but haven't in years, so I can't really remember how to fix the problem. I hope you get it sorted out soon!
I have no idea but I'm thinking of you and hoping you sort it out soon :)
I hope you got it all worked out with the help from those smart ladies! I'm with Mrs. Gamgee...I no get it ;o) Good luck!
